Losing weight especially for the overweight person must be considered the safest and the healthiest way. You’ll have less cravings and less need for snacks to tide you over until the next meal. Eat Tilapia or salmon on a bed of lettuce. Other proteins you can use instead… 1 can of tuna, 1 can of black beans, 1 chicken breast, or 1 hamburger patty.
3. Dinner with a lean meat and some "superfood" vegetables
Use whatever lean meat you want for dinner, but I strongly recommend that you eat 8 ounces of broccoli or cauliflower… or a combo of both.
4. Choose your snacks wisely
Too many people use convenience foods for snacks. A lot of times you don’t even have any control over this since you ate so badly in the morning and afternoon that you need the quick energy from the sugars in them. Regardless, try to eat as many apples and low calorie yogurts for your snacks.
5. Drink Water, Protein Shakes, Fruit Juices, and Tea The empty calories beverages are killing you slowly . The average person gets over 25% of his/her calories from liquids now.

My brother-in-law told me about the program. He said he had lots of energy and that he usually has sinus congestion but that while he was on the cleanse he didn’t have any of that. He said he felt great.
So I went online and read about the lemon diet/cleanse, signed up (it was free)so that I could read the “community email” and found out a lot. I had a little trouble locating the Grade “B” syrup and ended up having to go to a whole foods store but everything else that is needed I could purchase at my local grocery store.
I am on day 8 of the cleanse. I can’t believe that I am not hungry or weak because I think deep down that is what I thought was going to happen. I must be honest – the first day of the cleanse was horrible! I had a terrible headache and I was nauseous off and on all day. After work I pretty much went home and just sat around. Day 2 I was fine, I felt no different than usual.
I have only been hungry one time and that was at work when I relieving someone for lunch and everyone was cooking. I went and got my lemonade – drank it and some water and I was fine. I think I just waited too long before I drank the lemonade. On day 5 I figured out something about my lifestyle. My husband and I are very social people – but we are social around food. We go out to eat a lot and we meet our friends for “adult beverages” every weekend. So part of this is a mental adjustment. I told my husband we need to find new activities – something besides eating and drinking!
Last but not least – I love junk food. I haven’t had any cravings for brownies or chips, etc. I was really surprised because again I think I was expecting to have cravings and that I was going to have to suffer through it. Last night our daughter made brownies with ice cream as part of her father’s day gift. They smelled great but I wasn’t salivating over them nor was I upset that I couldn’t have any.
Of course this is just my experience but I highly recommend the book and that you visit the website. They discuss things on the website that may not be in the book. One item was that some of the women noticed they were cold – it happened to me also and I knew it wasn’t anything to worry about since I had read this on the website.

I started this diet about 2 months ago. I took off 6 lbs.the first 2 weeks, I havent lost a pound since. I dont know what I am doing wrong, I haven’t cheated, I follow every thing thru,I exercise,but I still haven’t lost anymore weight. I would just like to lose another 5 lbs. I am getting very frustrated and am thinking of going on the weight watchers diet. If there is anyone out there that thinks that they can give me some pointers I would appreciate an email.
